Technical writer and
marketing strategist
based in Groton, CT.
More than half of my personal and professional life has been spent around machines and manufacturing equipment, and I’m dedicating the next half to advocating for women in STEM.
After completing the New Media Scholarship program for journalism at American University, I moved out west to begin covering technology and manufacturing for Gardner Business Media. Spending years in production facilities taught me a lot about industry and people. Half of my time was spent in the field on everything from automotive to automation.
The other half was spent building the first video production department at Gardner, working to bring digital video to our main audience.
I made the decision to move back home to CT where I joined my family business and starting working on bringing all of my content development expertise in house, developing full-scale national marketing campaigns and brand development.
I’ve held a variety of professional writing positions in advertising, marketing, and journalism, where I’ve been responsible for delivering everything from social posts to national native advertising campaigns.
You can usually find me with a camera in my hand, taking corporate photography or capturing people’s stories on film or on paper.
